- From what I hear Halo 2 is still pretty good on the 360.
- Yes you should be able to play online with the Silver Membership. I don't imagine it matters if you didn't have XBL for the original.
- The new games should be able to play on the 360 seeing as how it's backwards compatible.

The number of backward compatible games that can be played on the 360 grows almost each and every month... they've already released 2 to 4 "patches", from what I can recall.

Halo 2 online runs fine on the 360. There is a list on the microsoft website for Xbox of the backwards compatable games, but it is currently down for maintenance.

I played Halo 2 online for the 360 after I beat Need For Speed and Call of Duty 2. At that time there weren't many games out that interested me, and CoD2 online was having some problems. I picked up my controller and played some. However, single player seemed to have some issues. I sold my Xbox with my Halo 2 campaign data save on it (Actually I deleted it. Whoever buys my box needs to beat **** on his/her own). But it was lost none the less. I was going to replay it for 360, but I would get to a certain point and it would keep freezing. Also, the starting scene would be burned into the background throughout the entire map faded and transparent, but still rather visable. Can't be a perfect world. Online is still fine, though.

Actually c0mm, that same thing happened alot during the first few months of the 360's release when playing online. Especially on the map Backwash, the shadow of the map would remain on the screen for game after game until the system would be shut off and turned back on. Many people complained about this bug on the Bungie.net forums. They probably have fixed it by now.
