Sony had obviously targeted this holiday shopping season for Launch. I think that it's a bunch of crap that they are only selling 400,000 units. When you think of the Big picture it's even less than that. Think about all the High Rollers, Actors, Rockers, Rappers and High End Execs,Athletes,that going to get a PS3 regardless. They could sell all 400,00 units in one day alone in one city ...say New York.

well that puts me on the spot. At my local EBgames they said they'd be getting 12 in initially. And I was #6 in line.

Japan only sold roughly 90,000 in 2 days, so maybe not all 400,000 would go in 1 day in NYC. Maybe.

Yeah Lib, give them a call to confirm you're still entitled to one on Friday. From the reports I've read, employess that pre-ordered are being forced to wait until the initial public pre-orders have been fulfilled. With that in mind, you could still stand a chance at getting one.

I found a store out here by my location that's getting 100 PS3s to sell on Friday... looks like I'll be making (possibly more than) $1200 for doing nothing other than standing in a line.

Well this sucks. I never asked my GS how many they were getting, but I'm #4 in line. I'm thinking my chances are still high, but I better call just to be sure.

I just found out today that neither bundle has a headset included.. I blew up at EBgames just now discussing this as I was trading in my PS2. How INSANE is Sony for not including a headset with the $500 or $600 bundle. Not having a headset is like not having a controller. The 360 bundles had headset's included.

I also heard on CNN 2 days ago that not all Playstation games will be playable on the PS3. Atleast 20 will not work...including Gran Turismo and others. I was thinkin about selling it on Ebay. But you have to have atleast a 98% seller approval and 50 positive feedbacks. I only have 28 feedbacks so far. This is a strict rule that is being enforced by Ebay in order to sell a PS3.

One can assume that you could still use your PS2 headset with the PS3, but no one really knows for sure until they get the damn thing home.

Does the 360 include a wired or wireless mic? PS3 will work with any Bluetooth headset, and you can get those at decent prices.

My brother has a 360 with a headset & it plugs right on top of your wireless game controller which I think is pretty sweet!

I really wouldn't suggest getting PS3 reserved or at the launch..Cause chances are, the first few "Waves" of PS3s are prone to be glitchy/defected, like the 360, so i'll be glad to wait for one till early-mid 2007 for mine, rather than that then having to return it/buy a new one. :D Not to mention the price is bound to drop at least $50 by then.
