This is a magazine website. What they've received is what you would call a test- PS3. It is not the real thing.

i saw that video before it went down, its amazing. and even PICTURES of the tv still look amazing. i can't frigging wait, at least until i see one at walmart :).

No, this is the final product. Yes it is sent to people to TEST out, but this is the final product, of what we will be playing when it is released.
And I saw the video too before it got taken off. The console takes like, 2 seconds to load.

No offence to the Sony lovers, but that system is just not aesthetically pleasing. I am sure the final shell product may look slightly better, but it basically looks like a PS2 with curves and a shiny outer shell.

I think the PS3 kind of looks like a scanner of some sorts. Kind of ugly, but whatever. Did anyone read the comment boxes below the article?
