Where did you see it saying MGS4 would come out for X360?
Also, The PS3 will succeed. So will the Xbox360 and Wii.
Even if the PS3 doesn't do too hot in the USA, it will still be a huge success in Japan and the rest of Asia.
Opposite with the Xbox 360. It will fail horribly in Japan and the rest of Asia (already has), but will kick *** in the USA.

Reason: duh, not MGS3, MGS4!

If you read my post it was more of a theory. Seems pretty logical that Konami will sketch up a contract though, seeing as how they are already producing games for Wii and 360 beyond the MGS series.

Oh I know the theory you're mentioning...how Substance came to X-Box and all...but I thought you had some actual information at first. You did say "Now I find out", but I was thinking you actually found out something about it possibly coming over to 360, instead of just using rhetoric.
I got excited when I heard 360 and MGS4 in the same sentence...

14 months before Gran Tourismo and MGS4 are schedueled to hit shelves. A lot can happen. Considering Konami does have games for all three consoles, it is more than likely they will make a good career decision and release MGS4 for all three consoles as well. GT5 is the only x-factor, as I said before, at this point.

Look, make no bones about it. I dont play a lot of video games, I play maybe one or two titles that I find interesting. GT5, maybe MGS, and hopefully Socom. Xbox doesnt have anything that apeals to me save Halo 3. XBOX doesnt have anything I want, yet the PS3 does. Simple as that.

The only thing though is Konami announced that MGS4 is exclusive to the PS3, although I'm having a helluva time finding it. It's supposed to be huge. I'm thinking they will use up more than a standard dual layer DVD can have. Either way they're designing it for the PS3.

Some games have already used more than what a standard dual layer dvd can handle, i believe. The disk was said to already have 20 GB of game memory already stored on it, and the game wasn't even done. This is my key-in for the ps3. If the developers are that good, and they use nearly all 60 gb of memory on a BR disc, image the environments and physics engines that oculd be in the games...
Edit: the game i was speaking of is Resistance. How much memory do the 360's disc format hold (not bragging if BR is way more, just wondering cuz i forgot)? And also, for any PS3 fans/ curious people, go to Playstation 3: PS3 News, Games, Pictures and More! and look at some of their stuff, they have game previews and such.

Wow. A lot of going back and forth between the pro-PS3 people and the pro-360 people. I would probably say that I'm for both. Right now, I have an X-Box(yes, I hae Live and Halo 2, but only play about three hours a week), and Rick has the PS2(I play S3 sometimes). He is going to get the PS3, because it has some games for it that he is interested in buying(the only ones I can remember are Armored Core 4 and Resistance). Me, I'm probably going to buy a 360 next year, and get some games that I am interested in getting(Halo Wars, Halo 3, and Saint's Row). Now, I spend most of my time either watching Rick play S3 or on the computer. Now, as for my preference between the systems, I can't say. I havn't played on the 360 yet, and have only read about the PS3. They both sound good, and the PS3 seems a little better because you get a hard-drive no matter which one you get. But on the other hand, the X-Box online set-up is better than the PS2's, and the 360's sounds awesome, but I can't say if the PS3's online will suck or not(Ooh, and I just remembered something. They had to modify the PS2 to play online because they hadn't thought of that, while the X-Box had online capabilities built in fro the start). So, which is better, no one knows. All I know is that Sony has SOCOM, and Microsoft has HALO.

In my opinion, your entire post was great up until this point. Sony has so much more than "just SOCOM", and Microsoft has so much more than "just Halo". A better thing to have said would probably be: Sony has gotten so much more since GTAIII (yes, GTAIII NOT SOCOM) bolstered sales of the PS2 console, and the Halo series has done a lot to bolster sales of the Xbox console (everywhere but Japan & the far east, that is).
