PS3 price cut?

And tell me this, would you ever buy something from Japan? Even with the price drop, you still have to pay for shipping and taxes....you're better off just getting one here.

If someone is willing to pay thousands of dollars for a xbox360 on ebay the first week it is released im sure theres going to be a lot of that going on for the ps3. So buying 1 from japan and paying for shipping is probably still cheaper than 1k+.

That is a good point right there.

The only problem with getting one from overseas though, is that their numbers are even lower than ours, and finding one is going to be a pain in the........... well, you know.

Have fun buying games from North America then, I don't know if the PS3 is going to be like the PSP unless something has shown up since I first posted this?

Excellent point. If someone that lives in North America buys a Japanese PS3, they'd better have a good grasp on the Japanese language in order to decipher the games from that region.

If I remember right, the PS2 was at a going rate of over $1000 over Ebay when it first came out also. The same will definitely happen with the PS3.

Also if I recall, people thought they would get it cheaper by getting it from Japan and ended up reselling it on Ebay just to get enough money to buy it here in the US so they can get the games here.
