I’m going to start with this thought:
Will the PS3 come with all the cables need to plug and play the system. We all know how sony is about money. I’m hoping they don’t go the way of the modern PC by forcing you to buy printer cables and such.

Both previous Playstations came with them, so I would think you would get them with this one. If you are paying that much money and then having to fork out more to actually play the damned thing, I will be pissed, as will a lot of other people.
Not really a question, but I heard that they will be releasing some kind of adaptor so you can transfer data from the PS2 (maybe the PS1?) to the Hardrive of the PS3. I think this is a good idea, but pointless on their part. All you need to to is transfer the data, then take the adapter back and say its faulty or whatever.
My question: Do you think they will release some nice wireless headsets? I think the 360 has them if I'm not mistaken, they look better than the console itself though. Just asking.

That was another on of my many PS3 questions. I guess they can do it with blue tooth. A wireless head set would be a great addition. I know it would cut down on all the broken head sets. I'm the king of getting the wire tangled around my legs and snapping the wire in half.

I haven't broken my headset getting in tangled, but it does get tangled and its annoying!
If they release a nice black, wireless headset, I will be willing to pay a few more dollars for it rather than a regular USB one they may or may not release.
When I was looking on the Playstation site the other day, I saw that they are already predicting people to buy the 20GB PS3, and upgrade the Hard drive to the 60GB one.
I think they said simply slide the old Hard Drive out, and stick a new one in. That will help with fried Hard Drives, people who want the bigger one, and maybe even if they bring out an even larger capacity one!
I think they are adding some cool stuff to the PS3, but we wont know if it all worth it until its played for a few months and then we see if it all still works.
I will try to find some exact details on the Hard Drive situation from the Sony site.
Edit- Just say latest reply. As far as I know, it only comes out next year in the PAL regions. Unless they just today made an announcement, its still scheduled for November release in the USA.
OK I found it. Maybe its not as simple as I said, but here's the exact details from Sony, might want to add this in your first post just like as an FAQ thingy.

That's not a very good way of telling us, but its to the point, and lets us know we wont be stuck if we buy the smaller capacity one.

Reason: Saw latest post
I think those are the PSP memory sticks, that can go even up to like, 5GB.
I heard that Blu-Ray players are going for the upwards of 1000$, so you aren't paying that much.
Go try to buy a blu-ray player to play blu-ray discs. You'd spend more than you would for the PS3.
Samsung BD-P1000 Blu-ray Player
Pricing $1,000 (subject to change)
Oh, and the PS3 costs so much.
It's much more than a console, you can, I think, watch Blu-ray movies on it.
I didn't see a blu-ray player priced less than 1000$.
And they were about 5X bigger than the PS3. I personally like the look of it.
I think the simple little one-ear things people have nowadays would be sweet, for a bluetooth mic.
I'm hoping that they will put a web browser in this one. Nothing like watching internet p0rn on a big screen. Any ways it would make it easyer to find information on games while your playing them. Be sort of sweat to find a FAQ for a part of mission that you stuck on, with out leaving the confort of the lazy boy.

I'm sure I saw that on the forums somewhere but I don't know if they are or not for certain.
If they do have Linux, they will probably have a web browser, but I expect it will be a botched one where it has restrictions on what sites you can visit etc.
Can anyone get confirmation on the Linux thing? I have only heard it here and I am having a hard time believing it as no where else has said anything about it.
I know they had a Linux kit for the PS2 at one point, maybe someone got confused?
