Lol...I guess I'll have to order a Hazmat suit to wear while I play my 360. I bet that this was Microsoft's intention. Console Warfare at its finest.

Not to worry... just use a thin sheet of wood to protect them from one another. The TV stand that I bought years ago has been keeping the harmful radiation away from my other two consoles.

It is true...but doesn't happen all of the time, and sometimes might not be noticeable. I found this link. It isn't the one I saw before, but same idea.

Strange Xbox 360 signal might affect wireless LANs - Joystiq

Also funny article : Wal-Mart pulls plug on 360 kiosks - Xbox 360 News at GameSpot

About how when the 360 just came out, the demo kiosks with Wal-marts inventory systems, lol.

Oh yeah... I am also able to re-heat yesterday's leftovers while I have my 360 turned on. Talk about multi-tasking...

Sadly... my PS3 can only fry an egg while it's turned on.

Anyone else kind of impressed on Sony's movie/shows/etc list they have on the PSN?

Usually when Sony releases a new service, it is always bare boned crap until half a year goes by. They actually didn't fail on this downloading service.

Might download X'amd in HD later. It looks crazy.

Yea i downloaded a movie today, and its actually very good, however the whole downlading service is overshadowed by the Netflix announcement on the xbm, but had this came out a couple months ago, i would have taken complete advantage of this new service.

Well we (UK) aren't getting the video download service until next year, but they have finally dated PlayTV.

For those who don't know, PlayTV gives us Freeview on our PS3's, but we can also record it... making it a DVR. Last time I heard, you can record 2 programmes at the same time aswell as playing a game. The PSP can also be used for playback wherever you can get WiFi.

Honestly, this will be the best peripheral without doubt. I was going to buy a DVR soon anyway, this couldn't come at a better time. As it stands, there are no plans for for any variant to be released in the US.

I sounds like a great idea, yet complicated, but over here pretty much every Tv company provide DVRs( I have a Dish network DVR with two tuners for dual recording) and the installbase of tivo and other seperate DVrs are probably the reasons why it wouldnt launch here.

The thing about Freeview is.. it's free. You buy the box, and don't pay anything after that. Previous to Freeview, we only had 5 free channels, and all the rest were on a service (pay monthly) equivalent to your Dish Network, Brighthouse/Time Warner, etc.

If the peripheral is staying with the price I first saw (60GPB I think) then it will make the cheapest DVR on the market here. The only limit is the size of your PS3 HDD and that can be swapped out for a bigger one.

I think the PS3 movie/show downloading service is a pretty good program. Decent price, large selection. I think PS3 ONLY owners would be happy. If you also have a 360, as well as Xbox Live and Netflix, obviously that would be the better service, unless there are restrictions that we don't know about yet.

For the price of the monthly fee of XBL and Netflix, that would be about what, 4-5 rentals on the PS3? Depending on SD or HD.

Not a bad deal if you are not an avid movie watcher.
