:knocking on wood:
Luckily, my imported DS3 has given me no problems whatsoever... as a matter of fact, it's probably one of the best controllers I have even owned.

I remember once while playing COD4, I went to throw a frag and my guy just held it until it blew up. At first I thought my button (R1?) had got stuck, but the controller had actually turned itself off for some reason but it kept repeating the action of the buttons last pressed.
I simply turned it back on, and had no problems since. It wasn't the battery because the level had 3 bars when I looked after.

R2 but yea that happened to me a few times, right after I always press the ps button and go "what the hell the batter is full".
But if your ps3 controller turned on the xbox I would call sony and tell them lol.

the only problems i ever had with a DS2 were caused by excessive throwing. I think i went through 3 of them actually, but the $55 dollar price tag of DS3 has cured me.
Since one of the moderators decided to delete my thread about the video store rental, I looked up for how long you can rent a movie. You can hold onto it for 14 days, BUT you can only watch it for 24 hours after the first playback. I've decided the video store is already a FAIL, because I could just run up to McDonalds and use redbox for $1 and not have to wait on a download.

Redbox > Competition.
Every Tuesday new release. Always a movie, if you lose case you can buy a new one for a dollar, DVD is scratched you can call up they refund you money and you get the next movie free (you need proof it was scratched before you).
One problem with redbox..... It's not Blue Ray.

Not to mention that the lowest price NetFlix membership that offers unlimited online viewing is $8.99, which is about the cost of two PSN rentals in standard definition.
Mmmm, 2 movies a month, or unlimited movies a month? I'll have the unlimited with and extra side of WIN please.

Well, I just did the only thing I hadn't done that Sony recommended and that restore the system to default settings. I was just able to turn the system on using the PS button wirelessly.
If that doesn't work, Sony is getting a call tomorrow. And if they don't do anything, it's off to GameStop for that DS3.
Oh, and Creep/Omega, how far apart do you guys have your PS3 and 360 from each other? As close as mine?
*EDIT*
**** calling Sony. I get paid tomorrow plus I just got a raise and I'm getting put in for another. I'm getting a DS3.

Mine are in a similar proximity. This reminds me that I need to post pics of my finished living room in the "Post your setup" thread...

Mine are about as close as you have yours... still no problems at all. The two consoles are about a foot apart (maximum), only being separated by the (wooden) middle of the TV stand in my office.

If you have the 360 on while you are playing the PS3, your bluetooth devices will go really wonky.
Saw an article about how the 360 lets off a ton of a specific radiation that interferes with bluetooth devices.
Just if anyone wanted to know.
