The Wii is a completely different division of gaming. Much like the other Nintendo consoles, it isolates itself in the gaming industry. This is perhaps the main reason it is viewed as a less popular system, but then again it might be the main reason they are still around when compared to other companies. The Wii will be a hit, but they lack the amount of game titles the 360 and PS3 have compiled from their previous systems and backing multi-billion dollar companies.
I will not be purchasing the PS3, but I heard the price has been lowered down to $400 for its release. The Wii has always seemed to be a fun looking system, and I love the Nintendo games. I will be buying one, but don't expect them to be big into the online scene. They never showed interest previously.

None of us have yet to see just how awesome a PS3 is going to be compared to the XBOX360. I had always thought that I would only buy a PS3 but didn't have the patience to wait after seeing the Next-Gen graphics on the 360. Some people can't afford both systems ( especially the PS3 ) which I regret because everybody should have a fair shake to get both systems. The performance all around on the PS3 may very well justify it's price. The only online games I was used to on the PS2 was the SOCOM series and the Madden Series. So, the initial switch to the 360 online system at first is Intimidating and Overwhelming ( for Me Anyway ). But you get used to it.
I highly suggest the Intercooler they have one for $ 20.00 bucks that has three fans and they have a Liquid Cooled on for $ 50.00. The Twenty dollar one will work just fine.
B.A.M.F. is right in the games he reffered to you, as well as getting the Premium pack, which I wish I did....
It's a good system and Christmas time is coming so undoubtedly some really cool games will be released soon. Get a 360 and save coins for a PS3. The Coin Jug of Destiny can buy some nice stuff
What's an intercooler?
Is it just a fan that you set by your 360 and it cools it?
Or is it actually made for the 360 and it goes inside it and cools it?

Explain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The intercooler that he is talking about is an optional add-on for an Xbox 360... it is a combination of three additional cooling fans that is plugged into the back of your system, and it does a much better job of preventing your 360 from overheating issues.
(I have one on my 360, of course.)
Try doing a Google search for: "Xbox 360 Nyko Intercooler"... they're sold at most places that sell video game stuff.

Okay thanks for the info I appreciate it.
I should probobly get one.
So they go for about 30 bucks?
Also does it turn on whenever your 360 turns on? Or do you hit a switch on it and that activates is.

When I bought mine, it was only $19.99 - and yes, it turns on when you turn on your system. The instructions that come with the Nyko Intercooler are pretty self-explanatory.
Here is what the Nyko Intercooler looks like:

I suppose the intercooler would be a good buy if you're like me and play for 6+ hours at a time, right? I'll probably end up getting one a little while after I get my own 360. One thing I thought the newer versions of the 360 fixed, was the whole overheating issue. Is that still common on the currently released batches?
I've been thinking about the whole PS3 or 360, and I definitely think the 360 is the better deal. Even with the new price drop for the PS3, it's still more expensive than the 360. The biggest problem I have with the PS3, is I don't know what the system is going to be like. I seriously think that for this next gen console war, the XBOX very well may be the PS2 of this war.
