I took the list and posted it on the first page.

It was funny, I logged in after Christmas for a few minutes and was bombarded with friends invites. I had to check the forums to make sure I know the people. The last thing I want is mistakingly accept and little douches invite.

I forget who some people are, especially from the forum, because their names are different. Not like M3ATPLOW, who has yet to accept my friend invite from like a month ago...

I keep getting invites from people (not on my friends list) wanting to play with me.

I don't know who they are, but I get them all the time. I only been playing R6V less than 24hours and I already got 4 invites from random people wanting to play.

On a side note: What games does the forums have a clan (or similar thing) on? From piecing together some comments from another thread, we have one on Saints Row?

That'll happen a lot. Because it takes a while to find a good game, and bad hosts are disconnecting all the time, people send game invites to everyone on their recent players list in order to fill rooms up.

Usually when you get one, the game's still in the lobby and they're trying to fill it up before starting. So if you want some quick action you should follow it because there's nothing more aggrevating than joining a game, waiting 10 minutes for it to be over so you can play, and then the host aborts/freezes/closes the room.

I never even thought about it like that before, thanks for "enlightening" me.

Does anyone know why some games randomly end on R6V?

I can be playing for rounds, and rounds. Then suddenly we "Green-Up" and it loads to play the game, and then it takes me back to the main menu saying the game session is no longer available.

Is this my personal problem or is it widespread?

Personally, I <3 the disk read error of doom. It happens once a night.

I am a Playstation convert....

I will be one of those Christmas Noobs, as I told my wife I wanted one, and I am going to get it tomorrow.....Just having a heck of a time deciding on which games I want.....
Torn between Gears or War or Call of Duty...or R6 Vegas....any opinions guys...
and of course I want to see Halo on the 360..
and a racing game of some sort....But anyways, will definately need some buddies on the 360, as I believe everyone i know is on PS2/PS3...
