Spawning late isnt necessarily your PS2... actually im like positive it isnt. It is your internet connection, its just too slow. If your PS2 was not working correctly it would affect the ability to play the game at all, not how fast you spawn, that is lag/connection/host kind of thing.

My PS2 quite reading the discs a while ago. I took the thing apart and noticed the laser had about a centimeter of dist on it. I used a q-tip and cleaned it off, but I broke the glass on the top. I searched E-bay and bought one for like 10 bucks. Let me tell you, that thing is really hard to replace. I decided to send it into Sony and all I did was paint the warrenty sticker with some black paint, and they didn't say anything about it. I got it fixed free of charge! Gotta love Sony!

I know, right? I decided that it was time for this topic to become a sticky... making it easier for others with this "problem" to find.

Of course they wouldn't give you crap about it... they are trying their damndest to not get slapped with that lawsuit. They want to make everyone happy now!

I most likely missed something, but what lawsuit are you talking about? I will feel really ignorant if I missed something.

The controler lawsuit, apperarentlly SONY "stole" the Dual Shock technology that is why they had to modify the PS3 Controler

I have already cleaned and reset my laser position, as my PS2 does not usually read the disk, now it does but i get the disk read error!

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRICIATED!

What I usually do is put the disc in. When the " disc read error " thing is gone I will open then close the disc until it reads. sometimes it only takes a couple tryes sometimes up to 50 or more. It all depends on how dirty the disc and laser are. It works for me.
