Its actually about 4840932780-725-3y74y689437% better than the PS2's, but Im just too hesitant to repeatedly watch DVD's in fear of what happened to many other PS2's.

Hey guys, well it isn't going to pull many people away from the ps2 online. Well, anyhow....if the Socom series continues this path, i think that we will draw people to online ps2. due to all the talk of it...lol..

Socom is garbage compared to the stuff that xbox is doing. I was playing a 20 man room earlier, grenades, tanks, choppers, explosions, gunfights, and still no lag. On socom, I would have been running in place and stuff. Xbox live is so much better than ps2 online.
I wouldn't say Socom is garbage compared to what Xbox has. We will have to wait and see what the PS3 offers. But as of right now I have not seen anything worth my $600.00 at launch. The only game I have seen from the PS3 that I might be looking forward to playing is Warhawk. Other than that Sony has not shown me anything to rush out at launch at drop $700 plus dollars on. Also for those of you that have a 360 and like Jet fighter games you should check out Over G Fighters. A Ace Combat style flying game that just dropped this week. Unlike the Ace Combat series it has a mulitplayer mode.

I agree with you Allstar that XBL is better than PS2 online play although I still do like to play S3. I prefer XBOX but I'm not going to completely give up my PS2 because there are some good games out there.

I couldn't really gauge Shadow of the Colussus from the trailer but is it really that good of a game?

You compare a 2nd gen. vs 1st gen. console gaming. Of course new generation gaming console will be better. I'll stick with my Ps2 still.
