What would socom be like on Xbox????

This is the only and i mean only real reson why I am kind of sad that I traded and got rid of my Playstation 2 and then bought an Xbox 360. NO MORE SOCOM! I mean don't get me wrong I am glad I moved on to greater and better consoles but I would really be so stoked if Microsoft came out with a Socom game, with the 360's high level of technology along with the insane graphics Socom would be so intence and just awesome. So I hope someday they come out with a game, but in reality I doubt that Microsoft will. KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED!!!!!

In my opinion, Saints Row could very well turn out to be a "SOCOM-like" game... from just playing the demo, I thought it felt very much like playing SOCOM (to a certain degree).

I dont think it felt anything like Socom. Lost Planet on the other hand reminded me of Socom a bit. If you have not already tried it I suggest downloading the demo because it is pretty good.

The targeting was totally like what SOCOM is all about. It's not a matter of having the convenience of "auto locking" on your targets - a la the GTA series.

I dislike Microsoft to the greatest extent, for the main reasons they push their products out towards the stock shelves way to fast without taking the proper time to fix the bugs, and making sure all the needed material is properly placed inside the game console (They break down to quickly). Bill Gates is practically in it for the money no doubt, but his inventions are actually quite amazing don't get me wrong. But, Sony has it's strong points and weak points also. I believe though, that Sony takes their time and works productively to make sure that their products work well, and to their full extent. Yeah, the PS3 is taking a hell of a long time to get fully developed, and there may be just a little more time before it actually starts to sell on stock. Sony is also planning to build the PS3 with some sort of Blue Tooth tool and what-not so that's going to take some time to get that all specified. Getting back to the subject matter though, if we had Socom for Xbox I don't think it would be the same. Plus, I am not paying for internet play to enjoy myself with Socom Online that's just ridiculous. Sony's out there for the fun, and not just the money.
