If they really want to be ground-breaking, then make a WWI or Civil War FPS game. How many of those have you seen?

Anyways, the only thing that I'm looking forward to (so far) is the fact that it's based in the Pacific theater of WWII. At least that's new. At this point, this would be a game I would rent before buying.

Have you played the History Channel Civil War game? I'm not about to by a game were they use muzzle loaded guns. It's like waiting for Christmas.

I was hoping for Call of Duty 5: Future Warfare ;-;

Also, people trained with Muzzle Loaded Guns can reload it in about 5 seconds, which would have been the speed of reload time during Civil War battles (at least according to the History Channel).

But the guns would fire lasers instead of bullets. And for some reason, the ground would eat people. There would also be talking mushrooms. At the end of the game, your system will bake you Mr.Awesome-Pants brownies that are so good, just one bite makes your mind explode because it can't comprehend their yumminess. Yeah...

Point is, a Civil War shooter would blow.

But a WWI shooter could be interesting if done right...but still, Vietnam/Korea/etc would be better. Perhaps an amalgamation of the small wars of the past century...Grenada, Israel, Afghanistan, Balkans, etc.

I dont know about a WWI genre game. Trench warfare might get a little boring if you ask me. Would you spend most of the game digging?? Or would it be a scenario where you would hide in your trench and try to avoid artillery?

Korean may work but wasnt that war mainly fought in the air? Wasnt it a huge bombing campain more or less. I dont remember the name of the battle but wasnt there a point where 2 million chinese entered the war? Vietnam would be good. Imagine playing the Tet offensive.
