Ricky Hatton still fights.

Roy Jones Jr came out of retirement to fight again and it was a big time fight against Felix Trinidad.

Kelly Pavlik and the Klitschko brothers are also some other big names that have MANY followers.

Boxing is not dead dude, you just subconsciously want it to be and wont face the facts.

I tried everything, I even CTRL+F and searched that phrase and I didn't find me saying that anywhere in any of my posts. Where are you getting these things I supposedly said from?

it isnt as big as back in the day...that was peoples lives...people would fight for theur favorite when they would discuss it back then...and yea i can see why sells are more now a days...because poep;le didnt have things like the internet...or any advances that poeple use to promote boxing mathces...they were more RAW...

WTF are you talking about?!?! you think boxing is dead becuse its not a household phrase anymore? Ill tell you why, becuse there are like 2 million other sports out there to follow than there was in 1969. Boxing promoters still heavily promote thier boxers, and every big fight and announcement can be easly seen on the front pages of sports sites everywere, or did u not notice BOXING on the front of ESPN.com.

You dont actually know boxing is dead, you are just assuming it is based on what you see around you. Youre proved wrong, so lets not take it any further, just try to understand.

as anyone played this yet?? I hear it is a button masher so i am kinda leary. Even on a rent at this point. I love the fight night controls. If i wanna play a button masher boxing game ill go back to Punchout.

I must have not received the memo that said Punchout is a "button masher"... from what I remember, it took skill and strategy to knockout your opponents in that game. Not just random button pressing and mashing...

And after all this time, it's good to see that Punchout still plays the same on the Virtual Console...

Given it did take skill. Like the Jack *** that was a rhino kinda guy. so it took skill to time his charge?? LOL. Good times. Remember the arcade TKO tell me that wasnt a button masher. True puchout took skill but i still consider it a masher, if ol King can make a game as good as he promotes a fight we may be in business. I downloaded the demo of this on XBL....and let's just say, I was thoroughly PISSED OFF.

I don't know what it is, BUT I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND BOXING GAMES. I get hit five times and I'm about to lay over, get 20 good punches on the guy and he still has full health, I ****ING HATE IT SO ****ING MUCH.

I guess boxing games just aren't for me. It happens with every boxing game demo I've ever played, and yet I keep downloading them just to piss me off.

And yes, I did just get through playing the demo, so I am still irked by it.
