I just got it yesterday and its definitely a complete game. What I mean by that is that it has all the features you want in a boxing game and then some. Whats cool about the career mode is that it takes you through it like you're making a documentary about yourself developing your boxer.
The first thing you'll notice is the level of customization for your boxer: everything from the length of you neck, beard, and gut to the color of your flames on your everlast shorts. The actual fights are actually really fun and its actually got quite a learning curves with all the moves you can do. The training part of the game is interesting too, after 2 training sessions you can see the difference in your character. For example I did one training of jump roping (which was like playing Guitar Hero on a controller) and I noticed the speed of my boxer increased in my next match. Finally, the graphics are impressive you can see everything from the sweat on your boxers back to the blood the squirts out when you knock your opposition in the face.
I haven't got a chance to try out the other features like social life and promotions, but I'll get back to you when I get to play it some more. Anyone else get it?

Seeing as how 2K (by some stroke of luck) got their logo slapped on this product, I will be taking a pass on playing this game.

I never really noticed 2K's logo on the game when I got it, the Don King part of the name stands out though.
Some more impressions... hardcore boxing fans might really appreciate the little video snippets that follow each fight. Its like watching a movie documentary about your life as a boxer and how much you've grown and their thoughts on the boxing world. They go all the way to even cover your personal life like videos from you ex girlfriends which happens to be Heather Vandeven (2007 Penthouse pet of the year!!).

The 2K Sports' logo seems easy enough to spot, if you ask me... it's right there in the lower right corner of the cover art, for those having trouble.

Boxing Dead? Oscar-Floyd broke sales records for any fight in the history of fighting. Floyd-Hatton was the biggest paying euro-fight in history. Cotto-Judah broke ticket sales in Madison Square Garden (home of boxing).
Dead, Hell no!! Have you seen Mayweather fight?? If it dosent have as many followers as MMA then why are ticket sales way higher then MMA.

all those guys are now down...they are all retired NOW...who is there now that people would rather watch and FOLLOW more than the real boxers back in the day...and you really dont have to look as far back...tyson was where it really ended in my opinion. since then you are correct, ONE good fight in the golden boy and mayweather..
but way back when..people were into it more than nba and nfl and what not...not they put those 2 way ahead of boxing...

Mayweather JUST retired recently.
Oscar is still boxing and he boxed Steve Forbes recently in May to try and get Mayweather to fight him again.
Ricky Hatton still fights.
Roy Jones Jr came out of retirement to fight again and it was a big time fight against Felix Trinidad.
Kelly Pavlik and the Klitschko brothers are also some other big names that have MANY followers.
Boxing is not dead dude, you just subconsciously want it to be and wont face the facts.

True... but the fact still remains that this game will more than likely suck, seeing as how 2K Sports is somehow involved with it.
