First game ever beaten?

You know, I really can't remember. Fantasy World Dizzy sticks in my head certainly as being one of the first games I finished... Hmm. I'll go with that for now, unless I have a flash of inspiration.

EDIT: Oh actually, I know! I'm pretty sure it was 1994: 10 Years After on the Spectrum. Man, that was good! Well, for the time...
I wonder if it can stand the test of time? Time to load a Speccy Emulator, methinks!

Oh, and the original Prince of Persia was an early one, too. Not the first, but a huge accomplishment for me nonetheless. The 60-minute time limit was a real beeyatch.

I'd have to say Super Mario Brothers for NES. I had an atari 7800 but I don't think I beat any games, just played them.

I can't even remember what game I beat first.

When I first started playing games, I never used to play them to beat them, O played them because I had no idea what I was doing.

The first game I actually remember finishing was GTA London for PS1.

Well it can't have been that great. I don't imagine there being too many GTA IV desert landfill sites in 20 years time

Hmmm, thinking back. I believe it was the Legend of Zelda on the NES...So many games, it's hard to remember. I do remember beating Zelda and then my started playing and beat it in half the time. Oh I was pissed...

I played tons of games before this, but I never finished them. I think my first game that I actually beat and finished was either Super Mario 64, or Poke'mon Red or Blue. I got real close to beating Streets of Rage II on the Sega, but I lost to these twin sisters who did dragon kicks like they were going out of style.

I never did beat Super Mario Bros for the NES. Nor did I ever beat the first Zelda. I just never had the drive I guess. That was back when I had fun pretending I was a super hero whilst playing outside, so I guess videogames weren't as much of a hobby as they are for me now.

I used to have so much fun pretending to be Wolverine! I would run around with three fingers out like they were claws.

I think I was around 15 at the time.
