What, the whole Prologue thing?
Meh, it happened on GT4. I think the devs realize that some people just can't wait another whole year for the game. GT4 Prologue didn't sell THAT well just because it was for the fans, and fans only. Now because of the whole console war thing, everyone is blowing GT5P way out of proportion. People feel like they must buy it, and they must compare it to every other racing game. It is ridiculous.
EDIT - My mistake. There will only be 5 extra weapons in the game total. People who buy the standard game have to rank up to get them, gold edition get the weapons from day one.

The little IGN report said they did it in an NCAA Football game also (charge for stuff that should be free) so they were just pushing their luck.
The only reason they are letting gold edition buyers have the stuff from day 1 is because they can't really stop plans to make a gold edition now. What other bonus could you get that the other people wouldn't complain about?
I know they shouldn't have charged for it in the first place, but think yourself lucky they listen to their fans.

They are just trying to save their asses. Everyone knows they were originally pay to unlock. The beta even has the guns listed as being unlocked by purchasing them in the marketplace. Oh, but they claim that was just a glitch and a mistake.
"Oh, we never planned to have them as DLC....wtf choo talkin aboot? Wanna call off the boycott now LAWLAWLAWLAWL!"
The demo finally downloaded after five or so hours yesterday and I played the hell out of it.
The game seems it's going to be badass online. The weapons, vehicles, maps, destructible environments, it's all awesome. The demo online is pretty laggy but I'm sure that's just because it's the servers just for the demo because I haven't rank into many online demos that ran smoothly. If the actual game runs smoothly I can see myself playing this game a LOT before I get temporarily bored of it.
If anyone has five hours to kill or are going to be out of the house for a while and you haven't done so already, I recommend downloading this demo and playing it to check it out. When you reach level 4 you get a SMG unlocked for the real game that is only unlockable by reaching level 4 in the demo. Now keep in mind that I did say there was a pretty good amount of lag in some servers so forget about that while you're playing and look at the game for everything else it has to offer.
