The laser designator is brilliant in this game, its great that it isn't all automated. It is very satisfying to follow the missile the whole way in. My best kill so far was when I designated an empty tank deliberately so I could bring the missile down on infantry on the other side of a building. I got 3 of them. Although one other time the vehicle I had designated sandwiched itself between two of my own team's tanks. I didn't realis until it was too late what was coming, and those missiles aren't very agile... so I got one light tank and one enemy at the cost of two heavies and the three allied crewmen!

Last night I was playing and Ghost & I did the sweetest thing. We were the attackers so at the start of the round I spawned and hopped on the artillery. I looked around and dropped a shot on a tank killing 2 guys. While I was doing this, Ghost was running through the water as a sniper. When the enemies spawned again, their whole team decided to rush me to prevent further damage. Well they got there, killed me and decided to camp and wait for me. What they didn't know was Ghost was already at their base. I spawned on him and set charges on both crates. They had only one guy watching the area who me and Ghost dispatched of easily.
As soon as the crates blew, Ghost sprinted for the next ones while I distracted the respawning guy. We killed each other and I spawned on Ghost again who was at the next crates. We pulled the same trick again. As soon as the crates blew, he rushed while I distracted. We kept doing this all the way to the end and won in about 5 min. I had 411 points while the highest defender was still in double digits. We only saw one guy the whole time. It was pathetic.

Well I managed to get some MP playing time on the demp last night and I have mixed feelings.
My main problem is people being total sponges. I shoot close to a full mag of the AUG into a guy a guy before he dies, just doesn't provide for quick gameplay since you are spending so much time killing each person. Grenades don't seem to be too effective either.
The destructible environments are the best thing about the online play. One minute you can be taking cover behind a wall, the next minute there is no wall.
The artillery is great, but every game I have been in has 2 or 3 people TKing each other to gain control over it. It's not that much fun to use!
I can't control the helicopter to save my life. I take off in it, but I only seem to go backwards. Because of that, I usually end up dying because I leave the gaming area.
Overall, I do like this game quite a bit but I think I can stick with the demo for a while rather than buying the game.

Not too many people talk but there is a communication system on it. Because the servers are laggy sometimes the voices are laggy and hard to understand what people are saying.

I can't control the helicopter either. I have examined the buttons exhaustively but its just not natural to me at all in this game. In modern combat I owned in the helicopters, in this game I just land in front of the enemy and explode. Gloriously. The 2nd position in the helicopter is my place. Its actually very powerful.
The guns can't seem to decide on how lethal they are. Earlier I used 104 bullets from the M249 on one guy at medium range. He didn't heal himself as he was a demolition man. I didn't hit him with all of the bullets fired, far from it, but in that game I had 21% acuracy. So I almost certainly hit him more than ten times before he died. And yet, in the same game, I got shotgunned across the river, a ange of about fifty metres, and one shell killed me from full health. Sniper rifles are teh worst. Two identical shots, two completely different results.

Yea, I noticed that about the weapons as well. There are a lot of bugs in the shootings aspect of the game.
But the destructive environment is flawless, or pretty darn close.

I got to play BattleField (360) last night for the first time and I enjoyed it somewhat. The hit detection feels kinda goofy. Probably because I'm so used to COD4.
I think I may prefer the PS3 version controler wise. I just haven't had a chance to play a full game on the PS3 . OME6A got to work me over real good with his tank.
I can't fly a helicopter for **** !!!
