That image you posted with the prices on, is the content actually like that where you buy each separate item or are there packs?

No, all there is (that we know of), is that you have to buy weapons. I think they are two dollars each. Don't quote me on that.
That picture was just a large over exaggeration and more or less just showing how ridiculous DLC is nowadays.

You mean you buy special weapons that aren't in the game right? Theres no way they can justify making you pay to unlock the guns in the game.

Yup, zero is right. I got in the Beta, played it for a couple of hours and then was like, screw this. Everything seems so darn clunky. The Gold Rush mode is just so stupid. 2 bucks for a gun? Wow.../endpost

Most of the guns you unlock by ranking up. Screw buying any. Nobody moaned like this about buying planes in Ace combat 6. I suppose because it isn't COD4 people don't like it. Videogame developers aren't your friends, their there to make money.

Yeah I know you unlock most of the guns by ranking up. But it is ludicrous to have to buy things if they are already in the game. I will pay for good DLC. I buy Rock Band songs nearly every week. I'm not going to pay for something that should be free. Anyways, how many people are actually going to buy those guns?

Oh no...people DID complain, and they complained about Katamari, and they complain LOADS about some of the ridiculous DLC out there. DEVELOPERS ARE ABUSING IT. Plain and ****ing simple. Games are now 60 bucks...more expensive than before, but we are getting LESS AND LESS content as time goes on.

A recent interview with Dan Houser (of R*) found that he vows to only bring DLC to us that we actually want and is worth paying for. Probably meaning he is one of only a few people in the gaming brass that realises that we pay enough for the game and find that half of it coming in another few months at more expense to us.
I also think the GT5 thing is stringing people along also, but that's for another time.
