It's not a bad game. Graphics are okay and the gameplay is intuitive. The only real gripe is that it's too short. But Its something to pass the time. I'm not too bothered as its just till R6 comes out. I didn't think the online was that bad, but I only played it on co-op.

What took you so long to decide on getting skate? I was thinking about trading in my copy, but that could very well change now...
I stopped skating like a month before it came out and just got back into it again. So I figured for old time's sake I'd pick up another skating game. I used to LOVE THPS until I realized how crazy and unrealistic it was getting. I'm loving skate so far. If you wanna play sometime I'm on your friend's list. Message me or just PM me here, you can teach me how to play since I really suck at it lol.
yeah THPS is getting unrealistic. I don't think they even intentionally put the multiple grinds in THPS1 on the playstation but they said "Holy crap, its a glitch and it's working well." So they just began expanding it like dragonball and everything just became bigger and more unrealistic. i hate when things like this happen.
Ummmm... correct me if I am wrong, but the THPS series has been "unrealistic" for years now. Right?
Well, I know one thing for sure... the release of skate sure got the folks over at the THPS camp to stand up and take notice. I've heard their developers say that the game will receive a major overhaul before a new one is released.
In the meantime, I will start looking forward to a sequel to skate.
