General Gaming / Cross-PlatformIf you'd like to talk about a game thats on more than one console. Or would just like to engage in general gaming chit chat.
I just thought about this game today so I figured I would look up or start a thread. I have owned all the splinter cell series and loved everyone. The online play for the PS2 sucked on the last game but this new game looks to have an amazing single player, something new. Not sure how I will play this game though if it doesn't come out on the PS2 because I am not going to dish out $400 to get a PS3 for one game nor will I buy a 360 for the same reason.
Looks to be a good game though. I want to see the damn movie too. That has been pushed back I think 3 or 4 years now.
You are a fugitive, ruthlessly hunted by the very government you used to serve. Your only choice is to improvise to survive.
Experience original gameplay based on improvisation in which your environment is your top weapon. Always on your toes, you need to react on the fly to any changing situations and use the environment and the crowds around you to create diversions and deter your enemies.
As a fugitive, quick thinking and adaptation are essential to turn the situation to your advantage. A gameplay experience delivering 100% adrenaline includes close combat and shooting sequences. To survive, build an underground network of allies who will help you obtain high-tech gadgets and stay one step ahead of your pursuers as you struggle to unmask the forces that frame you.
This is going to be yet another amazing game. Now all I need is a 360 or PS3 to play it on when it comes out.
Also, the game looks semi-interesting. The only splinter cell game I enjoyed was Chaos Theory. I will probably give this game a rent. For the stealth genre, Solid Snake still has my heart. :)

Thats false its on the PC too. Each game gets better single player wise so this should be just as good if not better.
Can't wait for this game to come out. I have alway's really been a major fan on the splinter cell games. Double Agent was really fun, and in some point's pretty difficult.
Also, Tom Clancy is releasing another game (don't know the official release date) called End War which looks amazing.

From 2011 to 2014, the world enjoyed an unprecedented era of peace as enhanced defense technology eliminated the threat of nuclear war. It didn't last.
By 2020, constant depletion of resources has international tensions at a breaking point. One spark will ignite what no one thought could ever happen ... a third and final world war. World War III comes to life in Tom Clancy's EndWar.
In EndWar players represent one of three national armies (U.S. Russia or Europe) and participate in massive multiplayer battles. EndWar can be played almost entirely by voice command and also features a customizable army, as well as the ability to fight in various battlefields and cities around the world.

See I have always found the game to quick and to easy. I can beat it in a week taking my time and a day or two playing it none stop. I remember Tom Raider used to be wicked hard but Splinter Cell I have always found easy even on Sam Fisher mode. I still look forward to this game though.

A few of the mission's on double agent i thought were pretty tough. In my opinion the hardest thing on that game was getting whatever that was you needed to get out nuke at the very end of the game. But know that i think about it i'm probably not good at these kind's of game's becuase i'm not at all a stealthy person but i find them to be very fun.
I could never really get into Tomb Raider. I played it when it like first came out on the original playstation but haven't touched it since.
I had Chaos Theory and it took me 4 hours to get to the third level so I just gave up.
I can't wait to see this game, but the 360/PC exclusive thing is pissing me off although understandable.
The game sounds good, but I missed the last SC game and the story along with it. I always hate games that turn you against your own people, it's just a cry for help with the storyline.
PS: There is a thread on EndWar somewhere around here.
