For refererence, most of the glitches you talk about are not really glitches, IW(Ifinity Ward stated that if they did not want you getting into a certain area then you wouldn't get into a certain area meaning outside the map, which can only be done on old school. Most of the places that you think are glitches you are just not seeing how they get up there. If they didn't want you getting into the one area on Ambush (Where you jump off the tunnel entrance) do you think there would be a dumpster incase you fall in that area, if you weren't suppost to get there?

I'll come back and edit my paragraph structure tomorrow as tonight I am way to ****ing tired, night bitches

Yeah, but those were ten minutes of pure, un-filtered HELL.

I've heard about CoD 5 being based in the Far East... Guadalcanal baby! So it might be slightly different to most WW2 shooters. MoH Rising Sun was based in the Pacific theatre but I can't recall any other games alon the same lines.

The Far East has a bit of potential... there was the initial US defence of their Pacific possessions (Philipines etc), then the island hopping adventure the US Marines embarked on to take stuff back, there was the very long war in China and also the land war in Burma and that general area.

CoD likes to jump about a bit and in this game it wouldn't be hard to go from US Army to Marines to Navy, and there were also Chinese, British, Indian, New Zealand and Australian forces present in large numbers.

I think Treyarch are decent enough developers... I really like IW but these chaps will get the job done. The medic class was cool, could have ben handled better but a nice innovation. Is it any worse than Martrydom?

I wish COD4 would have stayed with classes but still let us customise our own. I like the idea of being a medic in COD3, it's like no one has a specific role in a team on COD4. I realise we still have preset classes, but they don't mean much.

My Grandfather did a tour of India and areas around there during WWII. He died before I reached an age where I could ask him about what he did over there so I don't know if it would make a good game. He was a radio man I think, back when they carried a car's weight in radio equipment just to talk to a guy on the other side of a hill. That's about all I know.

Sorry 360 guys, but I hope COD5 is PS3 only (doubtful). I want to see a war game that completely utilizes the computing power of the console and full capacity of a Blu-Ray disk.

Call of Duty 5 was officially announced the other day:

IGN: Call of Duty: World at War Revealed

Treyarch will indeed be developing the game and they are taking the game back to WWII (like zero mentioned earlier in this thread). During this go around of COD, we'll be fighting the Japanese in the Pacific, and the Germans from the Russian's perspective.

I'm still puzzled as to why they would go back to WWII when COD4 was one of their most successful installments.
