I picked it up this morning when the stores opened because I knew it would sell out fast which it did. From the demo though, I thought it was a lot harder then the other games and I've beat all the other ones on expert. I'll find out though when I finally get back to my dorm tonight.

I opted out of this in favour of buying rock band and CoD 4, will have to wait until xmas

The guitar controller is required for the full & best experience. The new Gibson that comes with this game is wireless which makes it totallly worth it to me.
I walked into Best Buy to get this game and they were stacked up to the ceiling. I absolutely can't effin wait to go home and play Raining Blood by Slayer. I just hope that I can play for awhile tonight. I've been praying to Hangover Jesus all day

Raining Blood is pretty sweet. It took me a few tries to get through it though.
The PS2 version has bundle packs that have two new SG controllers and the game (but the guitars are wired).
I bought the single guitar pack with the new black Kramer (which sucks). I'm just sticking to my old wireless GH2 guitars.

I don't really like it, thus far. Hitting the notes have to be perfect, or they don't give it to you. I like how GHII gave it to you if it was close.
