Rock Band

Ok, I made one of these in the XBOX 360 Forums but since it is on both 360 and PS3 I figured I would make on here.

Just want to start off by introducing the Game.

Rock Band is a music rythem game from the makers of Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II. It expands on what they created by adding Vocals(Kareokee Revolution/Singstar style) Drums(Drummania) and the bass seems to be improved. Downloadable Content (DLC) is released every week, Tuesday for 360 (not sure about PS3, someone please inform me) and already has 50 songs avaiable.

I will expand more later but for now I will leave it at that.

What are your thoughts on the game? On the DLC that has been released?

IMO the dlc is good but bad at the same time. Good because it will keep the game alive and going and have more enjoyable hours.

Bad because you have to keep throwing money into the game witch isn't horrible but after alot of downloads it starts to add up. Another bad is if they release a new song every week after a while there will be pages upon pages of songs witch may become annoying if you just purchased the game and the song you want is 85 pages away.

I played the game and my personal raiting is a 6. I think theres to much going on at once. Enjoyable at parties though.

That's the kind of post I am looking for. States his neigative opinions about the game and backs it up

On a side note I just 100% Ten Speed(Of God's Blood and Burial) on expert guitar, not a FC but I am going for that run now.

Blackened by Metallica also has double bass in it. There are a few Double bass mods, the simplest its getting a headphone splitter and two pedals, while the best one alters the wiring so that if one is pressed down the other one will still register if hit. I haven`t had a problem with anything, All my pedal hits register perfectally.

I downloaded "Ten Speed of God's Blood and Burial"
Though I am dissappointed with the track (because I love Coheed), it's fun to play. But I still have $3 in my wallet. What else should I download?

i have been thinking of getting ROCK BAND but i heard mixed reviews from actual players.

Can you share your feedback and opinions.

It is worth the $170. I played it non stop for the first month after I got it. I'm not exadgerating either. It did not leave my PS3.
