General Gaming / Cross-PlatformIf you'd like to talk about a game thats on more than one console. Or would just like to engage in general gaming chit chat.
Dude, I downloaded "Thrasher" today. It is harder than Green Grass and High Tides. I can barely beat it on hard. I get 75% and 3 stars. I will conquer this song!
I can get 86% done with Green Grass on expert (guitar), then I fail. Love it tho

Indeed. Didn't the same people that made Guitar Hero make Rock Band? I know I've heard it somewhere, but I'm not 100% positive.
Harmonix developed Guitar Hero but later gave up the title. After this they developed Rock Band. I believe that's what the situation is, correct me if I'm wrong.

Yup. Harmonix made Guitar Hero 1 and 2. They then gave up Guitar hero 3 to Activision to make Rock Band with MTV.

Harmonix and RedOctane made Guitar Hero 1, 2, and Rocks the 80s. Activision bought RedOctane, the company with the rights to the Guitar Hero name. Activision came out with Guitar Hero 3. MTV bought Harmonix, the company who produced the orgininal Guitar Heros. They made another Guitar Hero (just with a full band), but without the same name.
rockband is one of my favorite games better than guitar hero even though it was a ripoff of it
Not a rip off if the company who made Rock Band also made the First Guitar Hero. Harmonix basically took their Guitar Hero, Karaoke Revolution, and converted guitar hero to be used for drums and put it into one sexy package.
