Yah I saw that review. I knew they would NOT give it a 10, anything other then a 10 is fine in my book. I am just sick of other sites throwing 10s around so generously. 9.7 is still a very very very good score. lol. The game is not perfect though.

From them it is the highest rated 360 game. On the original xbox, two games scored higher, Halo 2, and Jade Empire. (I thought Jade Empire was icky, and Halo 2 overrated).

On PS2: GTA: SA, MGS3 Subsistence, God of War, Gran Turismo 3, God of war II, MGS2, SOTC.

Gamecube: Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime.

Then of course (using Gamespot for this) perfect 10s to games such as: THPS3, Chrono Cross, Soul Calibur (DC), Ocarina of Time, etc. etc.

There are a LOT of old games that were rated higher then Bioshock. A few last gen games that rated higher, but so far this gen, Bioshock is the highest rated game.

i cant explain how excited i was for this game but i just broke my finger yesterday and wont be able to play it until i get the cast off

Bioshock got a 9.0 from Gamespot.

They gave Gow a 9.6, now thats over rated, Ign gave it a lower score cause it just wasn't that amazing, bio shock desevered the 9.7 from ign, its actually a amazing game, the frist amazing game also to ever have a great storyline.

Sorry but i used to listen to gamespot until the Bioshock review now i know for sure that they are unprofessional, they said the game freezes for a few seconds?! right they even said after several hours, so by a screw up they made they gave it a 9.0, they are dumb.

They are retarded because they don't generously throw out rediculously high scores???? Even still, it is a 9/10, editors choice, and yet people still complain. It is only slightly lower then other reviews. Why don't you read the full review, not just what is listed in the GOOD and BAD section.

Gamespot gave Sonic a 4.0 or something like that, gears of war a 9.6, and then name gow the highest rated game, which is total bs, Oblivion should still be top rated, gamespot gives games the wrong scores, IGN is a much better site to listen to in my opinion.

9.0 for bioshock is just a little too low, a 9.6 or 9.4 would be better, if they can rate a game like gow that has a terrible single player and a "okay" multiplayer, then they can rate bioshock higher since it has a amazing single player, but no multiplayer.

It is just one guys review. He is the one that gave Twilight Princess an 8.8 and fanboys went ape **** then too. Sonic a 4.0? Good, that game deserved it. Gears a 9.6, that is a low score compared to most websites that threw around 10s, just like they are doing for Bioshock. Overall, I don't agree with Gears reviews from ALL sites, I guess it doesn't matter nowadays if a game has a story that could have been written by a 4 year old.

I don't have a problem with BioShock having no MP. The Darkness would of had better reviews if they would've left the MP out. It's not even worth the achievments.

I'll be picking up BioShock on my Lunch break.
