General Gaming / Cross-PlatformIf you'd like to talk about a game thats on more than one console. Or would just like to engage in general gaming chit chat.
It's not overrated at all. In my book Bioshock should've won Game of the Year, but Call or Duty 4 got it instead.
I want to play through it again so bad but I just don't have enough time anymore to game a ton. I want to go back and harvest all the girls and play on a harder difficulty. I guess I get to it when I get to it.
Agreed... it got my vote for game of the year. I consider it as being one of the most original FPS games I've played in a loooooong time.
This was my argument to all the COD4 lovers. Bioshock had one of the most unique story lines I've ever experienced in a video game. It was original in every way, from the whole setting, to the characters.
Quite honestly, I thought COD4's story mode sucked the high hard one, especially when compared to BioShock's story mode... I traded the game back to the store in about a week.

Same here..
I'm the kind of guy that wants a good story line, no matter how good the online play is. Bioshock dominated in that aspect. I'm glad Bioshock didn't attempt some online play, it would have just turned into another shooter online...
For those that don't know, the BioShock demo is available on PSN now... I downloaded the demo last night... but here I am hours later, posting about it instead of playing it.
If my brother doesn't buy this game, I might just give it a rent or something. Just to get some trophies on my PSN account, and have an awesome reason to be playing my PS3 more often than I currently do.
