I was up at GameStop yesterday and pre-ordered this. I was told July 17 was the release date. Either day, I can't wait for it to come out, especially since I've been getting into some older rock the last few months.

Also can't wait for GHIII. I'm a big fan of "Rock and Roll All Night" from KISS.

I highly highly doubt you will ever see a Led Zeppelin song on a Guitar Hero game, let alone Stairway to Heaven. Ever since Zeppelin started out they were never a band that liked to license thier music to much, and to this day that still holds true. Their music has been in like 3 movies and 1 commercial in the last 30+ years.

They did the same thing with Freebird pretty much. They had some comment about not playing at as an encore in the first games loading screens and low and behold its an encore song in the second.

This subject is completely different!

And as for the songs, you have to look at the overall difficulty of completing each part of the song as well as the whole thing. Any decent player at GH2 can go through all of the other parts of Jordan, even some of the solo's, it's just one or two parts which are amazingly difficult and I will admit, the fast part of the Jordan solo is tougher than anything on Six but overall, Six (as a whole song) is extremely difficult to get through, not just a couple of parts.

Oh, I understand what you mean now... it's kinda like how this is a GHIII discussion, and someone throws out the fact of how (in their humble opinion) one guitar looks "uglier" than another.

Thanks for clearing that up...

And for the record, I consider a majority of Gibson guitars to be "ugly". PS2 owners lucked out by getting the Gibson SG as their controller... that is, without a doubt, my favorite Gibson guitar.

I was just thinking about some good songs to play on GHIII, and one that popped up right away was La Grange by ZZ Top. I think this song would be a bit easy, but still awesome to play. A few ACDC songs popped up too.
