On Topic:

Looking at the screenshots on IGN and stuff, it looks a lot like HALO. I cannot stand HALO so I am already having my doubts about this game. I am willing to bet it will give HALO 3 a run for its [over priced] money too. I hope it sends HALO back the sausage fest it created.

I wouldn't mind seeing a nice demo on XBL first though, just to make sure.

Don't make me castrate the lot of you. I'm not sure the world will be a better place with your seed. I checked out the trailers on ign and wasn't quite impressed with the gameplay but I think it should still be good nonetheless. I'm not a huge fan of FPS (I prefer third person) but from the gameplay trailer it looks like you can switch between the two. It does lok a bit like Halo, England, but character customization + next gen should make it a bit better. How can you possibly bad mouth Halo anyhow, England?

I have always liked third person shooters better than first. SOCOM 3 was the best third person I have ever played although it was ghey.

I think this game would be a hell of a lot different in third person. You would actually be able to see the 100 enemies surrounding you at once. It's always nice to see the people ambushing you.

PS: I just have a thing about alien games, thats why I hate HALO.

This does really remind me of Halo, with the looks and all. I just hope it's totally different, because I'm not the biggest Halo fan.
