Sounds like you have a good plan here. Good to hear from you.

I found my first diappointment with this game! I played the demo a few times today and got past the insane level (3 million points or something) and could not unlock the "real" version! I know it is the demo, but I felt good about what I had done. I strung together a 17 kill combo and got mad points for 5 straight head shots! Damn Demo!
In two weeks, I will be losing a lot of my night time hours to this game!

I just got my call from the sexy, automated voice of Gamestop to let me know that my copy of "The Club" will be in tomorrow. Can any guess what I will be doing when I get home from the office??????
Shall we place an over/under bet on the number of "adult drinks" I subject myself to????? I place the line at 4.5
I will go with the over!!!!

Under, you nancy.
This game was ok. Its like socom and manhunt. Not for me, but I def know why people would like it. Great concept. Sweet characters, and graphics arent that shabby. Ill probably end up renting this one for spring break.

Did you get the "please press one for Spanish" at the beginning of the phone call? I did, and it was the first time that I heard it. Maybe it's because I reserved it at their store in Hangover Park... I dunno.

LMAO... I don't have to work until 10am on Thursday, so I will be consuming quite a number of cold ones. I'll send you the chat request once I see you are logging on XBL... because I will be home earlier than you will be!!!
 to my weight challenged brother-in-law.

I was SO disappointed with the demo to this game. I dled it a few days ago not knowing anything about it. I was thinking that it'll be a nice mafia or hitman type game, or maybe even a fighting game with guns, but NOPE, just another bland shooter.
Im so ****ing sick of the same type of games over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over. Video game creators need to get some new ****ing ideas already. Id rather play Twisted Metal on the PS2 instead of this bs that game studios are forcing on us these days.
I swear, if there isn't an incredible, mind-blowing game released by Q4 of this year, Im flushing video games down the toilet for good.

Tell me how you feel about video games, E. Writer......jeez!
I thought the demo was solid! I can not compare this game to anything like it. Maybe I have not played enough shooters, but I have never come across anything like this in the past.
What was it about "The Club" that was bland?

It seemed like I was playing Lost Planet with a different look and different game modes. I hated Lost Planet with a passion
Don't get me wrong, the style of the game and the game modes were decent, it was just executed poorly.

Well, after playing the finished version until 1am last night/this morning, I am happy to report that it is MUCH better than the demo.
I'll start by saying that, at the very least, it (finally) feels like a complete game!!! And by complete, I am talking about the different game modes, different combos, and the ability to interact with more random objects than just some doors and/or boarded up doorways - as already seen in the demo.
People who want a story to their games should be warned... there isn't one to be found with this game. It's pretty much just all about being in this club, and killing mass amounts of opponents. You don't even know the reason why the characters are in it, other than for the simple fact that it seems as though they like killing people.
Granted, this game is not perfect. I don't want to build it up so much that people think I've just found the lost treasure of the Aztecs... but I've found it to be a damn fine game, regardless.
Well, I was hoping that Bizarre/Sega had something brewing with this game's idea, and I likey likey what I've found so far with the full copy of the game... with any hope, their idea can be refined for a future game like this.

I could not have explained it better. I think that this game is one that can offer a VERY HIGH replay value. Every level has several missions to it! it is a blast and I would suggest at least renting the game!
