More details came out yesterday on this gem, via some German vebsite..

The game’s story will fit in between Episode III and Episode IV and have something to do with Vader sending an apprentice to take down the rest of the remaining Jedi.

Apparently, at the onset of the game, you start off as a trained Sith, complete with a sheet load of force powers at your disposal. As time progresses, those powers grow even stronger, giving you new abilities the Emperor doesn’t even have.

That video is alot clearer and a little shorter than the other version I saw months ago. The first one I saw a Star Destroyer crashing into the ground. It's long past due for an A+ Star Wars game to come out.

Developed for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Nintendo DS and PSP platforms, the game presents the first active collaboration between LucasArts developers and the film special effects team at Industrial Light & Magic. Putting players into the hooded cloak of Darth Vader's "secret apprentice," the game's events unfold in-between [episode III] and [episode IV].

Notable game features:

Unleash and upgrade the Secret Apprentice's four core Force powers - Force push, grip, repulse and lightning - throughout the course of the game, and combine them for ultra-destructive, never-before-seen combos.

Examples of unleashing the Force in ways never thought possible:

• The Secret Apprentice won't just Force push enemies into walls - he'll Force push enemies through walls.
• The Secret Apprentice won't just Force grip foes to throw them aside - he'll Force grip them in midair, zap them with lightning, then drop them to the ground to explode like a bomb.

In addition to new adversaries created just for the game, such as fugitive Jedi and Force-sensitive Felucians, players will also confront and associate with familiar faces from the Star Wars films, including Darth Vader.

Visit locations such as Episode III's Wookiee homeworld Kashyyyk and the floral Felucia, the junk planet Raxus Prime, plus an Imperial TIE fighter construction facility.

Decisions made by players throughout the game will determine the path of the story, including multiple endings that will rock Star Wars continuity as they know it.

This game looks amazing. I can't wait until it comes out. I've been waiting for a decent Star Wars game. Not many have come out since Battlefront 2.

Anyone up for a little BattleFront II this weekend? I'm really in the mood for some space battles and ****. Hoth was one of the best planets.
