I was shocked to receive a call from GameStop last night, telling me that this game would be available for pickup Monday at midnight... looks like the force will be with me sooner than I had originally thought. Sweet!

I can tell you that this is one game that I'm going to enjoy no matter what it's rated and however many (small) flaws it may have. If IGN gave the game a 1.0 / 10.0 I'd still have a blast with it.

Less than that, in my case... I have about a 12 hour wait for my copy! Can't friggin' wait to pick it up from GameStop.
And I also agree with your thoughts on liking the game, no matter what kind of reviews it got. As I have said before, if I went listening to IGN on all of the games that I like and play, it would probably be a really really short list of games.
Besides, a 7 out of 10 isn't really a bad review at all... not in my opinion.

I think hard-core Star Wars fans will disagree with this review score.
I'd like to get this game at midnight tonight but it all depends on if I get sauced or not at the Red Sox Vs. Rays game tonight.
Well, as (bad) luck would have it I just found out that I will not be able to pickup my copy of the game later at midnight... apparently, because of the remnants of Hurricane Ike, the store that I reserved my copy at is currently being repaired due to the massive flooding that it sustained last night after they closed for the day.
The manager that I spoke with on the phone assured me that I would be able to get my copy first thing in the morning, so it looks like I will have to wait until then to play it.
