Anyone know a revised date when this game should be released? I just tried putting it on my GameFly list, and they don't even have it on their "upcoming releases" list. Tried a search on their website for "Skate", and all I got back were the two TH games that are available on the 360.
I'd at least like to give this game a rent...

I couldn't find a specific release date, just '2007'.
I did find this great review though, just posted today. It highlites the ingenious control scheme, some of the names in the game, and some very interesting features that deal with......youtube?
It's a good read for anyone that's curious about this game.

The Skate Demo will be available tomorrow ( Aug 21st ) on XBL. I can't wait to see how this game stacks against TH.

That's exactly what I was thinking ( The BioShock Release ) and the Skate Demo, what a good day 
Hopefully, Skate will be sizeable Demo with a few options

I was very dissapointed with the Demo, first off the camera view is completely horrible, then theres no walking which makes it even more horrible, add walking and put new camera views, and then it will be better then tony hawk, but for now i hate to say it but this game is not better then tony hawk.
