General Gaming / Cross-PlatformIf you'd like to talk about a game thats on more than one console. Or would just like to engage in general gaming chit chat.
I bought this game for the the PS3 instead of the 360 and I love it. I have a Dark Elf that's an Assasin. I just started getting a feel for the game because there's just so much to do, it can be overwhelming at times.
I've played the Diablo series and The Star Wars: Nights of the Old Republic series and Oblivion is right up there with those. Awesome.
I made a Kajight(sp?) with the main skills: Sneak, Heavy Armor, speechcraft, armoror, acrobatics, athletics, and blade. I tell you, I leave up so dang fast. I made my character last night around 11pm and I was up to level 15 in about two hours.
I have a Redguard knight. I play more like an assassin, though. Currently at level 13. I made a 100% chameleon suit after completing the main quest. I am the Master of the fighter's Guild, Arch-Mage, Gray Fox, Listener, Knight Brother, Divine Crusader, Knight-Errant, and the Champion of Cyrodiil.
I've played Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind along time ago, and this is the first time I've played Elder Scrolls since then, I'm just getting the hang of it.. Dark Elf Theif.. should be pretty fun.
You must sleep to raise your level. Waiting is inadequate.
I've played for about 200 days and ~120 of them have been as a vampire. Originally I preferred not to feed and reap the many benefits of being a powerful vampire, but the inconvenience of having everyone refuse to talk to you and the massive amounts of sun damage aren't worth it. Now I usually keep very well fed unless I need to use one of the special powers.
I'm level 30 now. I accidentally got suspended from the Mage's Guild because I stole (I had picked up a dozen soul gems and a number of ingredients and that was fine, but one random ingredient apparently was off limits) so I've been running all across the world trying to find two sets of 20 plants. So far I haven't found a single one but I did locate another couple of Daedra shrines.
Teqila, have you done the Daedra quest in which you have to kill Umbra and take the sword? I tried it and I was completely unable to defeat Umbra so I left. I think that if she can do that much damage with the sword, it'll be worth keeping should I finally kill her rather than give it back to the Daedra lord.
