Its 2v2, Two Spies v. Two Spies the spies are from different organizations but it is basicly the same thing of spies vs spies.
The single player is pretty good but nothing much new from the old ones. I am a big fan of splinter cell and love following the series so I buy them all and play them. The single player has a good story to it and it is an over all good game. If you can buy it used don't waste the $50 because after you play single player it will get old because for one the online mode sucks and already no one plays it.
O you'll like the button thing.

I lost all the time by .02 seconds. Thats 2 milliseconds thats faster than you can blink your eye. If you blink you lost. What it is is that you grab the guy it can be from the front or from behind and as soon as you do a little screen pops up that looks like the right side of your PS2 controler and it either has the Triangle, Square, X or Circle highlighted. Whoever hits that highlighted button first kills the other. If you hit the wrong button you get penalized .05 seconds so you basicly can't win unless that person hits the wrong button too or he has just fallen asleep from boredom. I should of made a video of the online play before I sold it.
