If it helps at all, I could have sworn that I heard Ubisoft put exclusives into each of the different console versions of Double Agent...

Each console has their own special thing:
PS2: "PS2 players will have access to two exclusive single-player missions, which should balance things out a bit."
Xbox: "Xbox version will have exclusive multiplayer content that can't be found in any of the other versions." This mainly do to that they can have 6 players play at a time.
360: "On the multiplayer side, the 360 version brings back the critically acclaimed Versus Mode where a team of spies challenges a team of mercenaries, this time in a three versus three format with a new lobby system that is said to pit equivalently skilled players against each other. The traditional co-op mode will not be included and is a current-gen exclusive this time around, but 360 players eager for co-op play will be able to get their fix via some of the multiplayer side options."
PC: Same as 360
Gamecube: Just plain sucks no online mode what so ever not to mention crappy graphics.

Well I am on the last mission at the last part and I have no idea how to beat the crazy mofo with unlimited ammo and with laser mines all over the place.
Anyone beat it yet? If so how?
Never mind I got it on my second try last night. I forgot I had flash bangs. I just threw one at his feet. When he was disoriented I ran up to him and grabbed him. Defused the bomb and the game was over.
Good game but nothing really new. Next splinter cell needs to have something totally new and exciting.
I don't think I will every play the online anymore because it sucks that much.

This game is CRAZY!! This is seriously the best game i have ever played. Ever since i played the first one, i have fallen in love with the Spliner Cell series (only played Chaos Theory with a friend cause i didnt have the money at the time, it was still very good). But Double Agent is just frickin amazing. Whoever said the graphics arent that good on the ps2 is outta their minds (well i guess compared to Xbox and X360 theyre not that good, but for ps2, theyre some of the best). It is true that they kinda butchered the online, but its still dece (A friend and I just play TeamDeathmatch together and just just pwn together  ) Even if you have never played the SC games before, get this. The new concept of being a double agent is so original and creative, all while being fun.
PS to Pan - All your info was great and really showed ppl how SC was without exaggerating or anything. Job well done.

Its still fun, but compared to the online of Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory, its not too good. There arnt any ranks and its just spy vs spy. You have to pick up the gadgets as you play and you can only hold one at a time (as opposed to the first two where you started off with four different gadgets). Also, each spy has a gun. To me, the whole point of Splinter Cell is sneaking up on ppl and breaking their necks to kill them. Now you can just sit back and shoot at the them. The new "dual" system of combat is dece. As Pan said its first to push the button wins, basically. Its kinda stupid tho because you can sneak up behind someone and grab them, but if they push the button first, they flip you over them and they win and your dead. Original, but not too realistic/cool.
There ya have it Knuck, a somewhat full/complete rundown of the online play in SC: DA.

Pandora Tomorrow was awsome. You could pick the gadgets you want at the start of the round from: Sticky Cameras, FlashBangs, Smoke, Tab (shot it at mercs and you could listen to what they are saying and you know where they are) and I think thats about it for gadgets. It was great, Spy vs. Merc. Mercs have guns spys have a long range tazer gun and the gadgets plus the neck grab and jumping on a guys head. You needed stealth to be good at it other wise the mercs would own you all the time. You actually had to sneak around and hide behind things. In DA you just run around and if you stop your dead. Its so stupid.
However in Double Agent its Spys vs. Spys and everyone has a gun. It is basicly run and gun. You see a guy you take out your gun and you shoot the **** out of him or you pick up a gadget and try to grab him. However when you grab him you have to be quick enough to to press the button (triangle, circle, square, x) before he does or he kills you. Its just stupid. I sold my game last week. I beat single player and I probably would of only played it a couple more times then got bored of it. I would of never played online again because it sucked that much and I think everyone thought so because I went on the second day and there were only 30 people on.
However if you have a 360 your game will rock 40x more because of pwnage graphics and 3v3 online with spys vs. mercs with wicked cool gadgets.

Do you think I should still get it for PS2? How long is the single player and how many missions. So online is 1v1, I am guessing the maps are very small? When you say you gotta click a button fast how do you know which one to click?
