I went to check but it wasn't available yet. I checked Futureshop and it says 26 october for PS2. The X360 version release first.

Yeah I was going to just go back friday and check but if you say the 26th I will go check then too. I wanted to get it before the weekend when the chance of people buying it would go up.

I was bumed when they didn't have it today. Every website said it was released today for ALL platforms I don't know why stores don't have it.

Watch me go to buy it thrusday and it will be sold out for a week.

Ok I just got the game today and the online is totally different. For PS2 users you are Spies vs. Spies all the time no mercs what so ever. You get a gun to start out with and you have to pick up the gadgets such as smoke, flashbangs, sticky camers, etc. You can still grab people but who ever hit the correct button first kills the other. What I mean by that is you grab someone and a screen will come up and you either have to press Triangle, Square, X, or Circle and who ever hits it first wins and kills the other.

For 360 uses you can look forward to spies and mercs being totally redesigned. The spies have pretty much the same gadgets but they have a ton of cool new moves. You can now hack from a distance but the farther you get away from the device the longer it takes to hack it.

The mercs have the same weapons but they also have wicked cool new gadgets. The coolest of which is a drone. If a spy goes into somewhere you can't go like a air duct etc. you can use this drone to fly in and find them (if you can) and then self destruct it to kill the spie. You can also repel off things and you have this cool move to knock out the spy. Once you knock em down you can pick them up and head but them to kill them.


I plan on starting single player tomorrow. Can't wait.

Nah, I was just messin' around with ya. Keep this thread updated with what you think about this game, as I am going to wait for my birthday to get Double Agent.

The commercials that I've seen have me completely blown away!!!

(There's just too much other stuff for me to play right now... this way, it'll give me plenty of time to finish other games before my birthday rolls around. Then I can give SC:DA my complete attention.)

So how many people have it? Is it good, because Im thinking about going to the store today and buying it. I just need to know if its worth it.

I've heard nothing but good things about the game... and Pan seems to like it a whole helluva lot, so it's gotta be good.

I'm waiting until Christmas to get a copy of SC:DA (on 360)... I have too many other games on my "plate" to deal with until then.

Well I just played for 45min of the first level and I am still on it! These are long and hard levels (if you put it on the hard setting that is). For us PS2 users don't expect to be blown out of the water with graphics. However for the 360 users sit back because I bet its going to look a hellava lot better.

The game itself is great. Same moves/gadgets plus a couple new ones.

One thing new in single player is that you sometime have an AI teammate. This is cool in that he helps you do even cooler moves and he can help you in objections but he also gets in the way like socom's AI players.

If you have played any of the splinter cells you will love this one. I can't wait to get online. I plan on doing that tomorrow for a bit. I don't really want to get into it that much because I want to beat the single player first. The online is so tempting to play though with all the cool new things to do. Plus online play is always 30x better than single player.

I'll report back with more the more I play.
