Once again thanks for the info, I gotta pick this game up.
Yes it is online. There are two teams spys and mercenaries. The mercenaries have guns the spys have tazers. The spys can break the mercenaries necks or knock them out or shock them with their tazer. The mercenaries have guns that can taze, shoot, launch gernades, you get mines. etc.

Lets see if this great game will still be released next month.

This could be one of the best games ever if the online portion would only stay popular.

I doubt it will be the normal VS gametype. I mean, they might have it, but probably more then that..I hope. Anyways, I really liked SC:PT and I was really good at that game. Albeit I never really played rank mostly tag, DM, stuff like that.

On SC:PT I was ranked 45 as a spy and like 65 as a merc. I loved that game but the popularity of it died down. It went from having a mear 300 people on a week to having 10 people on within a month. The SC servers can only hold 660 I believe and I think I only saw the servers full a couple times.

For some reason SC can just stay popular like socom. Maybe because socom is always different always new things to do different ways to fight. In splinter cell you always have one objective. Either be the spy and do the objective or be a merc and just kill the spys.

Do you happen to know how much they expanded the team size in SC:DA online? I briefly looked around and saw on one game mode for DA it was 3v3, but I'm not sure if that is consistent throughout all the multiplayer game modes (I would think it would be, but you never know). I know they increased the amount of players from 4 total in one game, I just wonder what the max amount of players allowed is going to be.

The single player portion of this game sounds awesome, and is definitely worth buying. It should be fun to experiment with the Double Agent mode, and seeing the multiple outcomes of the game. Like you said Pan, hopefully SC:DA is released on time next month.

Some of the game features and background:

Veteran agent Sam Fisher is back. But he's never faced an enemy like this before. To stop a devastating attack, he must infiltrate a vicious terrorist group and destroy it from within. For the first time ever, experience the relentless tension and gut-wrenching dilemmas of life as a double agent. As you infiltrate a terrorist organization in its American headquarters, you must carefully weigh the consequences of your actions. Kill too many criminals and you'll blow your cover. Hesitate too long and millions will die. Do whatever it takes to complete your mission, but get out alive.
  • Dual objectives to fulfill: NSA government agents and terrorists will each want you to accomplish opposing tasks at the same time.
  • Discover the tension of being a double agent: Use actual tactics employed by today's real-life double agents to sabotage the terrorists' plans.
  • Explore a branching storyline with multiple endings: Your choices have an impact on how the story and gameplay unfold.
  • A world of international espionage: Missions from all over the world, from Asia to Africa to the heart of the U.S.
  • Experience extreme situations: underwater or in a sandstorm, hiding behind the dust or smoke - and even skydiving.
  • New authentic gadgets: Master the latest weapons and gadgets used by NSA government agents in addition to black-market terrorist weapons.
  • Xbox 360 extras: Two additional alternate single-player missions, nine all-new merged versus and co-op maps, and new underwater and sandstorm combat.

I agree... yet another 360 game that is sitting on my GameFly list.

Can't wait to post my impressions of the game after I play it for a while.
