Hi, I have a question I was hoping someone could help me with.

I currently live in North America (Canada), and am planning to buy a Wii U when it is released.
Early next year I am moving to New Zealand. I would much rather grab the Wii U before the move because it's significantly more expensive in New Zealand. The issue that arose this morning was Nintendo's inevitable announcement of the games being region-locked. That said, I am fairly inexperienced when it comes to regions, and have been trying to look up info about it.

Here's what I see for the regions that apply to me:
North America (NTSC-U/C)
Europe, Australia and Oceania (PAL region)

New Zealand falls under Oceania - the PAL region. Is it safe to say, then, that if I buy a Wii U here and take it to NZ that games bought over there would not play on it? I think that's what it means. I was just hoping someone could confirm or deny this for me.
