*Graphics Revival*

[Magnum Force]

The graphics staff has decided that it's time to get the Graphics Section going again after its recent drop in activity.

As some of you have noticed, I just became Head Graphics Staff. This decision was made to get things moving in a positive direction. The graphics staff is currently trying to come up with some ideas and solutions to get this place back where it used to be. So get ready for some "stuff."

At this point, all I can say for sure is that we will be getting the SOTW back up and try to re-establish the Challenges Section. We will most likely be looking for some, if not one, new members to add to the staff as well. Some "fresh blood" to get this placing going again. We would also like to get new members who are active in graphics and will also bring more activity to the section (along with even more members).

We will need your help as well to fulfill our goals and would appreciate as much participation as possible. We all know how amazing this place used to be and we would like to bring it back that way, and soon.

So get ready for a better graphics community!

*Also, any input or suggestions is appreciated and will be taken into consideration amongst the staff.
**We would also like to apologize for the outcome of The Gauntlet. We had some internal difficulties that have been resolved now. We will approach hiring new members with a more concrete strategy.


What's Next? Bulletin Area

This is where we will post what is going to come in the near future for the Graphics Section. Activities, competitions, decisions, etc will all go under this heading.

• We will be adding a few new members to the Graphics Staff. Please send in applications to any GS member.
• SOTW will start up next week.
• The Sig Battles will be pushed for activity and updated frequently.

I'll be the first to publically give congratulations to Mag. I too vow to do as much as I can before I take off and hopefully I'll see the GS back to the way it was when I return from Basic.

i started a public group called graphics revival like a week ago lol i'm with you 100% scuba we should get like a VGF Sig out there and use it on other forums to try to attract more artists.. half of the staff is inactive on requests as well thats no help to the forum when there not contributing.. oh yeah congrats too mag :) but if you want to attract more people the staff has to be active and talented.. theres a couple people here that are willing to step up and be part of it wink wink haaha

Graphics Teams

It's simple. We use the VGF social groups, make a team, and battle other teams in gfx. Make a sub-forum in the Challenges/SOTW forum, call it "Graphics Teams Battles". Simply, communicate on the social groups message board.

I don't see the difference in this and what we have now, the Sig Battles.

That's a good point, but this is like done as a team achievement. Have like 2v2 battles and give a team bragging rights.
