text problem

So I am trying to download fonts from dafont.com and whenever i try to open them with photoshop it won't open because it is being saved as a compressed file.zip does anyone know how I can change this?

Unzip it and drag the .ttf icon onto your desktop. Drag it into Fonts. You can find Fonts under the control panel of your computer. It should work then.

^^^^ What he said, you have to unzip it. Either directly into the font folder, or to the desktop, then into the font folder like mentioned above.

Or if you have Vista, Local Disk C: > Windows > Fonts

^That's the folders location.

A bit off topic, but how is Vista? I have it, I just haven't installed it. I love XP, and my computer is "dialed" in. Is there any real benefit to switching?

And I forgot, same as discombobulate said. But, with XP.

I have Vista on my laptop, but have turned off all of the Vista features so it looks just like XP.

I prefer XP.
