have a SOTW when winner gets GS status for the week, it will encourage more people to enter and more non gs to keep entering

Entering/Winning an SOTW would give you a privelege like being able to make your name all flashy looking and out of he ordinary (if that could be done on VB. I don't know if it can). Or maybe the winners would get access to a private forum or something like that. Also maybe the winner of the SOTW would have their sig plasterd on the home page for the week somewhere.

I probably have the master copy .psd on my computer somewhere.
I only stopped making them because after a few months people stopped using them and I never heard any complaints when they were no longer made. If it's something people want, it's not hard to bring back.

My suggestion would be to remove the three reasons on the vote. There has been times that I wondered in and seen the SOTW and didn't vote because I didn't want to make up reasons or I just didn't have time. I think one of the major reasons why SOTW has gone stale is because no one was really voting. It came down to only like 3 or 4 people voting every week. Just my suggestion.

I agree with Bigmike, I know it probably brings on people voting for their favorite sig creator rather then sig, but my thoughts are that it is a friendly competition with no real prizes, if you need to have a bunch of clanmates or buddies come vote for you too win in order to pump your ego you have other issues.

The votes didn't matter when only a couple people entered, anyway.

I say the winner of the sotw recieves a collab sig from gs members. So it's kind of like a trophy i guess. I diasagree with the gs status thing. You really have to earn that spot over a long period of time. But definitely have some small prize for the winner. =D
