I know of some good tuts, but what are you actually going for? There's alot of different vector styles. Maybe some kind of "I'm kinda goin' for this" example would help. I found what worked best for me (I'm a huge vector fan), was to look at alot of different vector stuff, and see how people implement certain things in a more basic form (if that makes sense). I say just go at it, and you'll start making your own style. But like I said, I'm not exactly sure what you're going for, vectoring a person with shadows and such would be alot different than using silhouette people, etc... It can be as little or as most as you make it.
