What's the difference in grenade launchers

I was playing terrorist, rats nest; last week. I noticed that when you chose the MGL you shot out 203's. With the grenade launcher you shot out m79's.

Is there a difference in the strength /power of these two weapons? What is the difference? I think I noticed that the load time was faster on the MGL.

no dif in the explosive but the m79 shoots longer less rounds mgl more rounds shoots closer

plus the seals can pick up the M79 and use it against u

exactly the M79 has better range, but a longer minimum range

Anyone can pick up any gun, including mgls and m79s. I prefer m79 (<3) because it gives that BAM factor that mgls lack.

Well the M79's have a lot better range and have a shorter blast radius. Some people like the arc better but I personally don't. I either shoot it too far or too close. The M79 doesn't relaod as fast as the MGL but has more ammo.

i think the m79 has a higher range than the m203 probably cuz its not an attachment and the thing is way bigger than the m203, does that answer ur question??

M79 has a further range because it fires strait. The 203 fires in an arch. This is simple physics here (no college education needed to figure it out either) The 203 is great to drop into areas such as revines, canyons, buildings, drop offs. Plus it(203) can be fired from further distances with more accuracy (real life using aiming prong at top not in game). The M79 is great dont get me wrong but its alot better in the game than in real life due to its easyness to use without actually aiming.Only real downfall of the M79 atleast in game is its easier to commit suicide due to shells exploding in close proximity to you with its line of fire.

They are good dont get me wrong but a 203 is way more practical (which is why our military uses them instead of the 79 like in name etc) because it is an attachment to a weapon which gives you more bang for your buck.
