Its needed in order to play on the TV and computer at the same time. The recording screenon the comp is small and there is a slight delay. Thats why the s video cable comes in handy when you can just play like u regularly do on the TV.
hey Navy, since we both got the dazzle thingy i was wondering if you'd kno why wen i do record i cant save it (using pinnacle) and if it somehow DOES save nothing shows up...also for some reason my S-Video just wont go in
EDIT: btw, wen i try to record using windows Movie Maker, it cant read the device like it kinda does in Pinnacle
no need to post three times but i was just wondering how to record socom and still be able to play at the same time, and he was explaining it to me, but since i have the s video thing built into my computer i dont need that dazzle thing i just need to buy that cable, and if you do buy all the stuff needed you dont need a camera to record and you get really good quality videos made
