My mic doesnt work with less then 2 people in the room

When there is one person in the room, sometimes it doesnt let me talk. I think its a router problem and if u kno how to fix it plz tell me. Thank YOu.

yeah..i had that problem...and i found out...there is no one to talk to so its basically thinking there is no mic hooked up

You should've posted this in the Online Gaming section and there is a thread about this, but yeah the other people probably (sp?) dont have mics.

Ummmm no. Dont say laugh when u dont know what u are talking about. Its a router problem and u have to open some ports but i dont know what ones. Its not cuz they person doesnt have a mic.......I will be in a rooom with one of my clanmates and i wont be able to talk to him. Once one more person comes in i am able to talk to him. Im not dumb, im not a noob. People on this form dont think before they post or dont konw what they are talking about.

Can anyone help me better yet, can anyone read!!!! I said when its me AND ONE OTHER PLAYER. That 2 people, cuz i dont know if you can count either. Dont post just to be a smartass, post if you can help me( that is why i asked, for help.)

Try with a new mic (Headset PS2 logitech) the one in the orange box, this is the best headset for Play Station 2, if this is with problems too....i don´t know what to do.

i had that problem, i changed my HS and now i can talk even with 1 person in the room.

I have tons of headset problems. Sometimes I can only hear one person on my team. Other times I can hear everyone but that one person. Sometimes, I can't hear anyone in the lobby until I go to the armory and come back. I've just chalked it up to weirdness. I haven't had this particular problem. I've always been able to talk to the other person when there's only 2 of us in the game lobby. The only times I haven't been able to talk to the other person is if...

1) They don't have a mic
2) their headset has problems and doesn't always work
3) everyone is dead but me or the one person left with me either doesn't have a mic or their mic has problems.

*Just in case you're wondering how I know the other person's headset has problems and not mine... every now and then they'll say something and usually its "my headset is breaking" OR when we get to the lobby I'll type to them and ask if they have a headset.

It is nothing to do with my mic or the other persons. IT IS A ROUTER problem. Thats why i would like to kno how to open ports and what ones to open.
