wtf? My sounds gone.

Ok so i have no in game sounds (gunshots,music,explosions) my mic still works fine and the tv sounds work fine and the other games work fine and i checked the socom audio settings, all fine. Does anyone know whats wrong with my sound?

i usually get that after a grenade frenzy, i'll hear the first 2 or 3 nades go off near me but then everything goes mute until i reset my ps2. sometimes it happens, sometimes it dosen't but it's especially bad on desert glory and frost fire.

yea that happened to me before. all you gotta do is restart your ps2. if thats not the problem, restart your modem router(if you have) clean your game disk.

No, it's your disc. About 2 weeks ago the same thing happened to me so I knew it was my disc. Buy a new one, they are only $15.

Yeah that happens a lot to me when I get grenades blown next to me, but it goes away after I leave the room and come back.
