So I was reading a post in the Online Gaming board asking if someone could do an experiment of some sort to see the exact number of shots it takes to kill ppl with all the guns in the game.
Well, I was bored and felt like meeting new people, so I entered a random room and was like "Hey guys, I'm doing an experiment for a large SOCOM community to see how many shots it takes to kill someone. Anyone in?" and they were like "alright cool."
So we made a respawn room and played about seven 20-minute rounds of Frostfire and managed to try out
and log/document the exact number of shots it takes to kill someone with EVERY GUN IN THE GAME.
That's right! We took every single gun (primary AND secondary) and fired it at
seven (7) different body parts all individually and thoroughly and discovered the exact number of shots a SEAL and Terrorist can take (which ironically is the exact same amount) until they die.
** Please Note: During the genocides we discovered that in all areas of the body, the damage is variable - a shot in the exact same spot will not always do the exact same amount of damage. The difference throughout the entire experiment has proven to be a very very slim difference though, so don't think it takes 1 shot because you said so when the chart says 4.
** Also Note: Yes, we actually did do this.
** Another Note: And yes,
every shot at eachother was counted.
BBCode in this Forum doesn't allow for Data Tables, so I decided to make the table in a series of document (.doc) files:
Click here to view the results for the SEAL SPECIFIC weapons.
Click here to view the results for the TERRORIST SPECIFIC weapons.
Click here to view the results for the SEAL/TERRORIST SPECIFIC wepaons.
NOTE: You will most likely need to download the document (.doc) file to see it. To download the document, right click the link and select "Save Target As..."
