Game Battles: What Have THEY done for Socom

I was just wondering, you know how SS has helped Socom move along with their maps and TWB. This site has helped Socom by bringing together the biggest coomunity of Socom players together. SOTG has provided a highly structured clan for serious, dedicated, mature players. But what about GB? They provided a ladder system, a system that was pretty well constructed (i read the rules and everything for the hell of it). Then you look at the players, staff, admin...theyre all facking @$$holes.

Bottom Line, I think GB has done next to nothing to help Socom in any way...What are your thoughts?

GB inspires certain socom players to strive to get better at the game and play more.
There are some people who make friends on gb, so without gb, there would be some people that would become bored of the game and quit.
That's my view, but i see where you're coming from.
A Majority of the people on gb take the game way too seriously and spawned some of the ideas about what are N00b guns and what aren't.

I think GB has done something for Socom. They've made everything a noob weapon/tactic/map. You can't do anything these days without being called a noob. I don't mind once in awhile, but it happens all the time. It gets so damn annoying.

That's the ONLY thing that I think GB has done for Socom.

I used to read the gb forums, those kids are ghey. Theres no problem with playing gb wars, I just don't like when the majority of gb homo kids bytch about guns, and how they think any lag at all is pulling your cord.
Most of the kids who consider gb is cool and think they own because they play gb are between 13-14 and are sunlight virgins.

Without GB, many of the a$$h0les that take the fun out of socom wouldn't be running their mouths. GB has helped keep socom from being completely friendly, and it has helped to keep us from using half of the guns in the game.

GB sucks, everyone ive played with thats in GB is only in gb because their scared of IWs and M14s.

Gb brings Compititon to socom, sure kids complain about guns, but my clan destroys them anyway, SOCOM 2 is nothing anymore, just a bunch of nerds in the day and old men @ night who think their bad because they can get drunk and play socom :D

Is GB even going to be on socom 3. I hope not. Since socom 3 has the built in clan war ladder thingy. Which is really spiffy.

GB IS JUST A TON OF LITTLE KIDS THAT COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!! :)

GB has really helped make Socom better for some people. Obviously not many people on this site like it. It made an organized, competive ladder. I know there were ladders before, but none up to par with GB. Sure, there is corrupt people, whiners, cheaters and all that, but no matter what site or game you are playing, all of that stuff will still exist. Socom Conflict was up for a week before people weren't reporting and there was bieleved to be corruption for Admins and refs. Most of you haven't spent much time on GB I'm guessing and just say what you've heard. GB is not a bunch of little kids. It's Teens who for the most part don't have lives and need the game. Yes they complain about guns, but you can still easily find wars with all weapons allowed, it really isn't hard. So in the end, GB has deffinetly help make Socom what it is. If you don't bieleve me, have a look around. There's always over 100 people on the forums, and countess people have started playing Socom through GB. Now you all can flame away at me.
